  • Speech Pathology

    At be™, our speech therapists work within a multi-disciplinary team, recognising that communication development is complex and often benefits from a collaborative approach.

    We help children develop the skills to connect and engage meaningfully, while seeking to break down barriers to communication and create a more inclusive society. We celebrate all communication styles — verbal, non-verbal, or alternative — and focus on each child’s strengths and abilities to overcome challenges and ensure every voice is recognised and respected.

  • Occupational Therapy

    At be™, our occupational therapists support children and adolescents to achieve their daily occupations including self-care (dressing, toileting), school, work, and play.

    We believe that every person has the innate capacity to participate actively and meaningfully in their daily activities and life roles. We realise that there is no one-size-fits-all approach and we tailor our supports to meet the unique needs and preferences of every individual. We honour and respect everyone’s unique interests, passions, and aspirations, and incorporate these elements into our supports.

  • Social Work

    At be™, our social workers collaborate with children and families to build confidence, resilience, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy, while supporting school, peer, and family interactions, and navigating challenges such as anxiety, grief, and loss.

    Through play therapy, we create opportunities for children to explore emotions, express themselves, and develop coping skills in a safe and engaging way. By using neurodiversity-affirming language and fostering a supportive environment, we help every individual feel heard, seen, and valued, promoting inclusion, belonging, and holistic well-being.

  • Allied Health Assistants

    Allied Health Assistants (AHA’s) play an important role at be™ as they help care for the overall wellness of our families and contribute to the holistic and supportive care environment that we aim to provide at be™.

    Our AHAs work in close collaboration with our speech therapists, occupational therapists and social workers, to provide inclusive and personalised care.

Our free, community-focused playgroup offers a space where families can connect, share experiences, and build friendships in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.

Designed for children aged 0–6 years, our wheelchair-accessible property features a large sandpit, outdoor play kitchen, cubby house, jungle gym with swings, and a spacious grass area for exploring and imaginative play.

Facilitated by our talented staff (including our Social Worker / Early Childhood Educator and Speech Pathologists).

When: Fridays during school term, from 9:00am - 11:00am

Circle of Security Parenting Program

Circle of Security is an evidence-based parenting program based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened, at every stage of your parenting journey. It is a gentle non-judgmental approach that empowers you to reflect on your experience of parenting to better understand and meet your child or young persons needs.

The program consist of 8x 90 minute weekly sessions and is is facilitated by our Social Worker. Courses are run term by term, depending on interest.

Interest Groups

  • Lego Group

    A safe and inclusive environment where children can engage with hands-on LEGO-based activities designed to stimulate creativity and teamwork. Children collaborate with peers to build LEGO masterpieces.

    Children have the opportunity to:

    • Strengthen communication & listening skills.

    • Foster empathy, understanding, and acceptance of differences.

    • Build self-confidence and forge new friendships.

    • Enhance executive functioning skills, planning, problem-solving, and impulse control.

    • Improve dexterity, hand-eye coordination, bilateral coordination, visual perception and spatial awareness.

  • Lorcana Club

    Lorcana is a fun and engaging social trading card game where players build themselves a card deck to come up with a themed, fun, and creative ways to win the game.

    Lorcana brings all your favourite and loveable Disney characters together in one fun and engaging card game.

    Lorcana works on the players strategising, planning, resource management, and problem-solving skills to play the game.

    This group provides a safe and inclusive environment where where each child's contributions are valued.

  • Sports Group

    A 10-week sports program tailored for children wanting to learn the fundamental skills essential for sports participation. Emphasising balance, throwing, catching, kicking, dribbling, and aiming, the program aims to equip children with the confidence to engage effectively in team sports.

    What to expect:

    • Weekly program focusing on a particular skill

    • Goal setting & achievement booklet

    • Group games

    • Individual skill development (balance, coordination, spatial awareness, gross & fine motor skills)

    • Review of the program and progress for parents at the end of the program.

  • Gardening and Mindfulness Group

    This group is designed to promote emotional regulation and mindfulness through connection with others and grounding outdoor and gardening activities. We support children to build communication skills and peer interactions in a relaxed, nature-focused environment and encourage responsibility and care through gardening. The sessions provide a calm, engaging environment where children can explore self-identity and build confidence.

  • Warhammer KT

    This friendly, inclusive group is for teens aged between 14 - 17 years who love storytelling, strategy, painting miniatures, or just hanging out with like-minded people. This group offers a space to connect, create, and collaborate.

    Whether you’re completely new to Warhammer or already deeply immersed in the lore, you’ll have the chance to:

    - Build and paint models

    - Learn gameplay strategies

    - Explore storytelling and world building

    - Problem-solve and think creatively

    - Develop confidence and social connections

    Supported by our Warhammer enthusiast and Advanced Allied Health Assistant, Chris, this group isn’t just about the game — it’s about belonging, friendship, and having fun in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
