Fees and Funding

At be™, we are committed to providing clear information about our fees and the funding options available to support your child’s access to high‑quality allied health services.

What We Offer

We offer a range of services to meet the needs of every client.

  • Standard Assessment - $290.98 (90 minute initial: 75 minutes face to face and 15 minutes for administration) ** If formal testing is required there will an additional charge for the time taken to score the assessment and write a report if required.

    Short Assessment - $193.99 (60 minutes- 50 minutes face to face and 10 minutes for administration)

  • Our services are charged according to the NDIS Price Guide.

    Standards Session - $193.99 (60 minutes- 50 minutes face to face and 10 minutes for administration).

    Therapists hourly rate is also billed for reports, resource and funding applications, letters and emails to other members of your team, designing individual resources and time spent in clinical liaison for your child. 

  • Travel time is charged in accordance with the NDIS Price Guide. A maximum of 30 minutes each way can be charged up to 60 minutes each way.

    Where applicable, $1.00/km may be charged in addition to cover therapy costs of fuel and travel

  • We value your time and our therapists’ time.

    Email communication that includes clinical advice, resources, or guidance that takes longer than 15 minutes may be billed at the clinician’s standard rate. This supports accurate clinical record‑keeping and ensures therapist time is appropriately recognised.

  • We understand things come up. To support fair access to services and reduce wait times:

    • Appointments require 48 hours’ notice to cancel.

    • Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the session fee.

    If you can reschedule within one week of the original booking the we can avoid a cancellation fee. If the rescheduled session is missed, the full fee applies.

    We understand that cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. If you can’t get to the clinic, please consider the following service options in place of a clinic visit:

    • Telehealth

    • Parent consultations (phone/ Zoom)

    • NDIS review/report preparation

    • Visuals or home program creation

Funding

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

At be™, we can accept Plan Managed and Self Managed referrals under the NDIS. Eligible participants can use their NDIS funding for:

  • Assessments

  • Therapy sessions

  • Reports and planning support

Medicare / EPC / Chronic Disease Management

Where applicable, Medicare rebates may be available under a GP‑referred plan (e.g., Chronic Disease Management).
These Medicare plans have limited allied health caps and may not cover all service types.

Medicare Helping Children with Autism Package

When a valid referral is in place:
Assessment services
• Up to 4 allied health assessment sessions to support diagnosis or to contribute to a treatment & management plan for a child younger than 13 years.

Treatment services
• Up to 20 allied health treatment sessions (speech pathologists, OTs, etc.) for children under 15 years — provided a treatment plan was in place before the child turned 13.

These session totals are lifetime allowances, not annual. Once used, the entitlement doesn’t renew each year.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on your level of cover, you may be eligible for a rebate through:

  • Extras Cover (Speech Pathology / Occupational Therapy)

  • Allied Health benefits

Please check with your insurer as rebates vary by fund and level of cover.
