She has extensive experience supporting children with diverse communication styles and developmental profiles, honouring each child’s unique way of being, relating, and expressing themselves.
Grounded in DIR® Floortime principles, Liz focuses on building capacity through curiosity, co-regulation, shared joy, and respect. She collaborates closely with families to support emotional development, autonomy, and authentic self-expression across home, school, and community settings.
As Clinical Director, Liz shapes the vision and therapeutic approach of be™, ensuring services remain inclusive, relational, and family-centred. She is passionate about mentoring her team to embed neuroaffirming practice into everyday clinical work — creating spaces where children feel seen, valued, and understood.

Jason Garcia
Jason provides the operational foundation that allows be™ to flourish. With oversight of finance, systems, and business operations, he works quietly behind the scenes to ensure the practice runs smoothly, sustainably, and with strong accountability and integrity.
Jason is passionate about building thoughtful systems and structures that support people well. His work creates stability for the team and ensures clinicians have the time, space, and resources to focus fully on meaningful work with children and families.
Through careful planning, Jason helps ensure the long-term sustainability of the practice, allowing be™ to continue growing its impact within the community.

Nadine is often the first friendly face you’ll see at be™, helping families feel welcomed, supported, and cared for from the moment they connect with us.
As our Client Care Coordinator, Nadine is passionate about building genuine relationships and ensuring every family feels heard and valued throughout their journey with our team.
Nadine assists with appointments, communication, and day-to-day support. She loves getting to know our families and takes pride in creating a space where everyone feels comfortable, connected, and supported.

Mandy Audley
Mandy brings depth, warmth, and compassion to her practice, supporting emotional wellbeing, family resilience, and meaningful connection. She works closely with both children and parents/carers, recognising that sustainable change happens within relationships.
Her approach is strengths-based, child-led, and play-centred. Mandy integrates trauma-informed, relational strategies that honour each child’s unique nervous system and lived experience. By meeting children exactly where they are — emotionally and developmentally — she supports the growth of regulation, self-understanding, and authentic resilience.
Mandy partners with parents and carers to build confidence, insight, and practical tools, helping families navigate life’s challenges with greater connection and capacity.

Danielle Hooper
Danielle is committed to a strength-based, neuroaffirming practice. She uses a play-based, relationship-focused approach to promote early language development, speech sounds, social communication, and self-advocacy skills, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
She works closely alongside parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure each child receives holistic, coordinated care that addresses communication within the context of their broader developmental and emotional needs.
Danielle partners with families, coaching them to embed strategies into everyday routines and interactions, empowering children to communicate confidently and authentically across home, school, and community settings.
She has a keen interest in myofunctional therapy, early language development, literacy, and speech sounds therapy, and draws on evidence-based approaches to support lasting progress while fostering joy, engagement, and meaningful connection in every session.

Maria is a speech pathologist who supports children’s communication and social connection through a neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach. She brings joy, positivity, and playfulness to every session, creating engaging experiences that honour each child’s individual learning style and way of communicating.
Maria has experience supporting children with AAC, swallowing difficulties, and speech and language development. She works closely with families to embed strategies into daily routines, empowering children to communicate confidently and authentically across home, school, and community settings.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, Maria brings a culturally responsive perspective to her practice, celebrating diversity and ensuring supports are meaningful and appropriate for each child and family. She also collaborates with the broader multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, coordinated care, helping children thrive in all areas of development.
Chris Morley
Chris is an integral member of the therapy team, supporting children and families in his role as an Advanced Allied Health Assistant. He brings a supportive and playful presence that helps children feel comfortable, understood, and valued for who they are.
Chris works closely with therapists to support the implementation of therapy goals, helping ensure continuity of care and accessibility for every child. He also partners with families to embed strategies into everyday routines and activities. Through a strengths-based, relational approach, Chris helps create an environment where children can explore, build confidence, and develop new skills in ways that feel meaningful and engaging.

Jess Esplin
Jess leads occupational therapy services at be™ with expertise in sensory-motor development, regulation, and daily functional skills. She uses neuroaffirming, developmental frameworks to co-design therapy goals with children and families, ensuring supports are meaningful, practical, and embedded in everyday routines.
Her practice is evidence-based and culturally informed, providing supports that respect and respond to each child’s background, experiences, and unique way of engaging with the world. Jess collaborates closely with families and the multidisciplinary team, ensuring holistic care that addresses physical, emotional, and social development.
Jess provides supervision and mentorship to the OT team, fostering professional growth, reflective practice, and consistent, high-quality therapy. She is passionate about empowering children and families, building confidence, independence, and participation in all areas of life.

Courtney Steel
Courtney is a creative and engaging occupational therapist who brings fun, curiosity, and joy into every session. She has a natural ability to connect with children, creating a safe and playful environment where they feel comfortable to explore, take risks, and be themselves.
Courtney thoughtfully tailors her support to honour each child’s unique sensory profile, emotional needs, and learning style. She understands that every child engages with the world differently, and she adapts her approach to meet them where they are, using play and meaningful activities to support development.
